Minnesota’s support systems are collapsing because the compensation offered to workers is so low. Many workers can't support themselves or their families. There are many other jobs near them that pay more. So, they need to work elsewhere to survive.
Because there are so few workers, many remaining workers have 16- to 24-hour shifts to help us survive and so they can try to cover their living expenses. Still, workers and their families struggle, often going without or going deeper into debt.
You can help us improve health, safety, and dignity for all Minnesotans. Stay informed. Check out our YouTube content, subscribe to our email updates, and follow our social media!
